Dr. James Veltmeyer

Chief Medical Officer at Therapeutic Solutions International

Dr. James Veltmeyer has had a long and varied career in the medical field. In 1997, they began their career as a Research Associate and Phlebotomist at LXN Corporation. In 2003, they became a Teaching Assistant in Clinical Science at Ross University School of Medicine, while they were studying for their bachelor's degree. In 2006, they were appointed Program Director at Medical Education & Research Academy, where they were responsible for overseeing the program at McLane High School and teaching classes in health, wellness, and nutrition. From 2007 to 2009, they served as Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2009, Dr. Veltmeyer began their role as Hospitalist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Alvarado Hospital. From 2013 to 2017, they were Physician and Surgeon and Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. In 2017, they were a Candidate for the 52nd Congressional District of United States House of Representatives. From 2018 to 2020, they were Chief Medical Officer at Therapeutic Solutions International Inc., focusing on immune modulation for the treatment of various specific diseases. Since 2020, they have been Chief Medical Officer at SERENE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, LLC, a transitional residential treatment program for those suffering from psychiatric conditions. In 2022, they will become President at Veltmeyer Institute of Advanced Biologics.

Dr. James Veltmeyer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from UC San Diego in 1997. Dr. James then attended Ross University School of Medicine, where they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Basic Science in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, they completed a Residency in Family & Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, Dr. Veltmeyer obtained certifications in Drug Enforcement Administration (2007), Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (2006), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Program (2005), and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (2005).
