Alajah Crowe Walker

Alajah Crowe Walker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. In 2013, they started as a Direct Support Professional at Friendship Community Care, Inc., where they played a pivotal role in assisting intellectually and developmentally disabled adults with behavioral management care plans and promoting their social skills and independence.

In 2020, Alajah joined Gila River Health Care as a Health Information Management Supervisor. In this role, they supervised a team of 18 employees across 3 satellite clinics, overseeing their hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes. Alajah also actively participated in various committees focused on communication, compliance, and technology, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they attended Arkansas Tech University, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Health Information Management. Additionally, during the same period from 2018 to 2019, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in General Education at Arkansas Tech University.

In terms of additional certifications, Alajah has acquired various qualifications. In 2022, they obtained multiple certifications from Thomson Reuters, including Advanced Legal Research, Essential Legal Research, Litigation Research, Prepare to Practice, and Transactional Law. Alajah also obtained certifications in Legal Research Practice-Ready and Legal Research Proficiency from LexisNexis in 2022. Furthermore, in 2020, they received the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from AHIMA. Alajah's commitment to continuing education is evident through their completion of the Conflicts of Interest and Health and Wellness Research certifications from the CITI Program in 2022 and 2019, respectively.
