Alex H. Ward

Alex H. Ward, Pharm.D., BCCCP, BCMAS, is a seasoned pharmacy professional with extensive experience in critical care and medical science liaison roles. Since September 2019, Alex has served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison/Clinical Trial Liaison at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc., focusing on the Southeast and South-Central regions, while also conducting educational symposia as an independent contractor. Additionally, Alex currently works as an Acute Care Clinical Pharmacist at UAB Medicine since January 2021 and previously held roles at UAB Hospital, including a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in the Medical/Pulmonary ICU and PGY2 Critical Care Residency Director. Other notable experiences include contributions to La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company and the New Mexico VA Health Care System. Alex obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Georgia in 2009.
