Ronald Barrett

Ronald Barrett has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering industry since 2000. Ronald began their career as a SQA Engineer at OnTechnology GmbH u. Co. KG, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer and developed test plans and set up network environments for system level testing. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Software/Release Engineer at Symantec Corp. and then as a Software/CM Engineer at Venyon from 2006 to 2009. From 2009 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at AutoScout24 and then as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they have been a Site Reliability Engineer at Centene Corporation since 2019 and a Development Operations Engineer at Therigy since 2021.

Ronald Barrett obtained their High School Diploma from Highland High School between 1973 and 1975. In 1986, they completed an Information Technologies Assistant degree from IFB Data, with a focus in Information Technologies, Business Management, and Organization. In 2017, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS Training. Ronald also holds an ITIL V3 certification from Oracle Administrator I.
