Jay Jung

Jay Jung has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jay is currently the Director of Business Development at Therm-x in California since October 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Global Standard Technology Co., Ltd from 2012 to October 2020. Jay also worked as a Global Product Marketing Manager at Applied Materials from 2006 to 2012. Before that, they were a Strategic Marketing Manager at ATMI from 2002 to 2006, where they provided market intelligence and identified new opportunities. Jay also served as the Director of Engineering at Microbar, where they secured funding and developed semiconductor equipment and processes related to copper interconnect from 1998 to 2002. Jay was an Engineering Manager at Ultra Fab Technology from 1996 to 1998, responsible for developing custom wet processing equipment for the semiconductor and storage media industry. Jay started their career at B. Braun Medical (McGaw) as a Senior Staff Engineer from 1991 to 1996, where they achieved significant milestones in IV bag manufacturing, automation, and water conservation. Jay began their engineering journey at Kimberly-Clark in 1988 as an Engineer, working on projects aimed at improving productivity, safety, and quality.

From 1985 to 1991, Jay Jung attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering.
