Alina Serban is the current International Marketing Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Alina has previous experience as the Global Multi Customer Engagement Lead, General Medicines & Emerging Markets at Sanofi and Takeda Pharmaceuticals (formerly Nycomed). Alina also served as a Brand Manager at Merck and an Executive Officer at Fraser Eagle UK and Malta.

Alina Serban began their educational career at Harvard University, where they studied entrepreneurship in emerging economies. Alina then went on to study immunology and immunotherapy at Sorbonne University. After completing their studies at Sorbonne University, they enrolled in the School of Business and Management at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Alina then obtained their MBA from HEC Montréal in strategic marketing. Finally, they received their doctor of medicine degree from Transilvania University of Brasov in medicine. Alina is also certified by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association as a HBA mentor.
