Amanda Opaluch

Amanda Opaluch currently serves as the Director of Customer Experience, Order Fulfillment & Strategic Projects at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a position held since March 2014, with previous roles in the company including Sr. Manager of Customer Experience and Manager of Technical Support. Amanda's professional journey includes experience as a Technical Applications Scientist I at Life Technologies and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, focusing on protein phosphatase PP1 and virus-host interactions. Earlier research experience was gained at UC San Diego, where Amanda completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences/Molecular Pathology, and at Wittenberg University, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, alongside positions as a Research Assistant at both Wittenberg University and NASA Glenn Research Center.
