Amy Dowling

Amy Dowling is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in database and data platform services. Currently serving as Senior Director of Database & Data Platform Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific since July 2008, Amy has progressively taken on roles including Senior Director and Director of Database Services and Senior DBA - SQL Server. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Amy worked at Ipswitch, Inc. as a Senior DBA, and at Houghton Mifflin, Amy held various leadership positions, including Manager of Network Operations and Lead Database Administrator. Amy's earlier career included a consulting role at Stiel/IPS, Inc., focusing on system development and networking solutions. Amy holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University, obtained in 1996, and has further education from Babson College.
