Bernd Leschonsky

Bernd Leschonsky serves as the Director of Quality Systems & Compliance at Thermo Fisher Scientific since July 2022, with a strong background in quality and manufacturing leadership across various companies in the medical device sector. Previously, Bernd held senior roles at Medtronic, leading manufacturing operations and quality processes for active implantable medical devices, and at CTI Vascular AG, where efforts focused on establishing a Quality Management System for ISO13485:2016 certification. Bernd has extensive experience in quality assurance roles at Abbott, contributing to site turnarounds and quality simplification initiatives while managing global quality programs. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Cologne and certification as an IRCA QMS Lead Auditor from TÜV Rheinland.
