Brian Wolf

Brian Wolf is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology with over two decades of experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Currently serving as the Manager of the Process Validation Group, Brian oversees a team of five validation scientists while leading initiatives in new product validation, process improvements, and root cause investigations. Previously, Brian held several roles including Lead Process Validation Group Scientist, where responsibilities included managing validation projects and mentoring colleagues, and Senior Test Method Development Specialist, focusing on improving product consistency and reducing costs. Brian's early career included positions as a Research Scientist II and Manufacturing Biochemist. In addition to industry work, Brian contributes to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, where Brian organizes and lectures in a biotechnology graduate course. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Structural Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
