Eli Groban

Eli Groban is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in scientific solutions and user experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Scientific Solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Eli leads a global team focused on developing AI and software solutions that enhance scientific inquiry. Previously held senior roles in user experience and digital innovation, Eli has worked with diverse clients as an independent consultant and contributed as a mentor for the National Science Foundation's Energy i-Corps program. Notable past positions include Director of Product at Autodesk, where Eli spearheaded the development of a cloud-based platform for protein engineering, and Director of Metabolic Engineering at Intrexon Corporation, leading projects that advanced bioconversion technologies. Eli's educational background includes a PhD in Biophysics & Quantitative Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BA in Chemistry from Williams College.
