Erik Winebrenner

Erik Winebrenner serves as the Vice President of Global Infrastructure & Security and Chief Information Security Officer at Thermo Fisher Scientific since July 2016. Prior to this role, Erik held the position of Adjunct Professor at Towson University from November 2011 to December 2018. Erik's extensive experience in cybersecurity includes serving as Director of the Global Cybersecurity Portfolio and Enterprise/Chief Security Architect at CSC from July 2002 to July 2016. Earlier in Erik's career, LAN & System Administrator responsibilities were held at Rydex Investments from May 2000 to July 2002. Erik earned a Bachelor's degree in Business & Information Systems from the University of Maryland (1998-2002) and a Master's degree in Information Security & Assurance from Towson University (2003-2004).
