Gerry Mayer is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in the scientific industry. Currently serving as the Director of Regional Marketing for Europe at Thermo Fisher Scientific since January 2007, Gerry also held the role of European Commercial Marketing Manager for Chromatography, focusing on marketing communications and strategic deployment within the field. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Marketing Manager for HPLC at Varian Instruments from January 1997 to June 1999, where responsibilities included the preparation and introduction of the new HPLC System ProStar, alongside the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy utilizing face-to-face, social, and digital tools. Gerry holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from St. Mary's College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
