Homa Taghavi

Homa Taghavi has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager/Associate Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific since January 2012, with a promotion to Associate Director in 2017. In this role, Homa manages multiple manufacturing support teams focused on new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfer. Prior to this position, Homa worked at Life Technologies from January 2008 to December 2012 as Supervisor of Manufacturing, overseeing a Pilot Development group for research and development feasibility builds. Homa's career began at Applied Biosystems, where responsibilities included roles as Scientist I, II, and III from 2001 to 2008. Homa holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from UC Santa Barbara, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
