Jenelle Metka

Jenelle Metka is currently the Vice President of HR Operations and Colleague Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Jenelle has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on strategy, talent planning, and organizational design.

Jenelle began their career in HR at Nobel Learning Communities, where they consulted and managed HR issues for 7 states with nearly 100 locations. In this role, they were responsible for compliance, employee relations, training, talent acquisition, benefit determinations, and succession planning. Jenelle also oversaw various HR programs, such as pre-employment clearances, employee referrals, and employee assistance.

Jenelle then became the Director of HR at VWR, part of Avantor. In this role, they led a global human resources team supporting all corporate functions (IT, finance, legal, HR & strategy) shared service centers, and services organizations. Jenelle primarily partnered with executive leadership teams for HR strategy, talent planning, and organizational design.

Most recently, Jenelle was the VP of Human Resources at PPD. In this role, they led HR operations and supported the HR team for corporate functions (finance, IT, compliance, PE, legal, HR) and manufacturing teams.

Jenelle has a proven track record of success in human resources and is an expert in their field. Jenelle is a strategic thinker who is able to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Jenelle is an excellent communicator and has a strong ability to build relationships with their colleagues.

Jenelle Metka has a masters in administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a BS in biology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Jenelle also has certification from HRCI in Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
