Kathy Spencer

Kathy Spencer is an experienced operations leader with a career at Thermo Fisher Scientific since January 1998, currently serving as the Hillsboro Site Leader and Director of Operations for Beam Technology since 2015. Kathy manages manufacturing and engineering operations for Beam Technology product lines, which include core technology for electron microscopes, while also overseeing site coordination and employee engagement initiatives. Prior roles at Thermo Fisher include Operations Engineer, Operations Engineering Manager, and Site Manager for Operations Engineering. Before joining Thermo Fisher, Kathy worked at Precision Castparts Corp as a Product/Process Engineer and Manufacturing Manager. Kathy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Washington State University.
