Mark Sumpter

Mark Sumpter has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as a Senior Chemical Area Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific since March 2009, following roles as Area Manager for Global Chemicals and Sales Representative. Prior to this, Mark worked at Dow Chemical in a research capacity from July 2005 to April 2009 and had a long tenure at Union Carbide from July 1987 to July 2005, focused in Charleston, WV. Mark holds both an Associate's and Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from West Virginia State University.
