P.eng Owen Shorey

Owen Shorey, P.Eng, has over 15 years of engineering and project management experience, primarily within the thermal management sector, focusing on heat trace systems in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Manager of Project Engineering at Thermon, Inc. since June 2019, Owen has held multiple roles including Construction Project Manager and Senior Design Engineer. Prior experience includes project management at MSCP Electrical Services, where Owen successfully led projects at Suncor Fort Hills, and prior roles at Pentair Thermal Management, where engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects were executed and capital projects managed. Notable achievements include implementing an alarm management program and overseeing small to large-scale heat trace engineering projects. Owen holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Alberta.
