René Zerwes

René Zerwes currently serves as a Senior Product Manager HEMS at thermondo, having started in April 2024. Prior to this role, René held positions at LichtBlick SE from October 2021 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing heat pump and energy services products, as well as leading initiatives for the integration of heat pumps on an Energy-as-a-Service product platform. Additional experience includes a role as Product Manager at KUGU Home GmbH, focusing on central heating, product development, and hardware integration, and a position as Product Development Engineer at Digital Energy Solutions, a joint venture between BMW and Viessmann. René’s academic background consists of a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Regenerative Energy Economics from the University of Applied Sciences Bingen.
