Amanda McGrath has held various roles in the past 25 years. In 1995, they were an Office Manager at Tri-L Construction, Inc. Amanda then worked as a Medical Assistant at IHC Instacare from 1998 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Billing/Shipping/Receptionist at ThermoWorks, Inc. Amanda then moved up to become a Technical Product Manager at ThermoWorks, Inc., where they focused on customer interactions with products, worked with several internal teams in managing the technical marketing of products, and assisted in several aspects of product development. Amanda also served on the App Development Team and as a Tech Support Manager.

Amanda McGrath obtained their Diploma from Pleasant Grove High School in 1994. Amanda then attended Stevens-Henager College of Business-Provo from 1994 to 1995, where they earned a Medical Assisting/Office Manager degree. In 2007, they completed a Certified Personal Trainer program at WITS. Finally, in 2015, they earned a Certified Software Tester certification from Utah Valley University.
