Steven Verhota has a diverse work experience in various roles related to welding, fabrication, and mechanical work. Steven started their career in 1990 at Murphy's Frame and Axle, Inc. as a Mechanic/Fabricator/Welder, where they rebuilt faulty assemblies and serviced vehicle systems. From 2003 to 2010, they worked at Psycle Werks as a Technician, Fabricator, and Welder/Owner, where they built, bought, and sold custom motorcycles and managed different departments. From 2006 to 2017, Steven worked at River Steel as a Leadman, Fabricator, and Welder, where they were responsible for quality control, managing employees, preparing products, and adhering to safety regulations. In 2017, they joined LaCrosse Transport Refrigeration as a Fabricator/Welder/Technician. In 2018, they worked at Westby Co-op Creamery as a Welder/Fabricator, and later the same year, they joined Thern, Inc. as a Weld Production Manager. In 2019, they took on the role of Leadman, Fabricator/Welder at Thern, Inc. until February 2022.
Steven Verhota graduated from Holmen High School in 1986 with a High School Diploma in Industrial Education. In 2018, they obtained certifications in AWS (American Welding Society) certified D 1.1 and D 1.3.
