Vicente Merlo

Vicente Merlo has a strong background in software engineering with experience working for various companies. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at theScore, where they focus on building tools to enhance the user experience through promotions. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer at brainn.co, where they contributed to the development of a financial system for a large Brazilian bank. Vicente also worked as a Software Engineer at Ambush, where they played a role in developing a distributed system using Elixir and Kafka for a fast-growing company with over 300,000 active users. Additionally, Vicente gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at HP, where they worked on the InstantInk project and gained insights into the importance of scalability. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Pulsus, where they focused on a mobile phone tracking application and learned about software engineering on a smaller scale. Vicente also had their first professional development team experience at SouthTech Telecom, where they worked as a Software Developer on various in-house systems. Lastly, while in high school, Vicente interned at Webproj Internet, where they utilized PHP and Perl to develop websites and e-commerce platforms.
