Alex Carr

Alex Carr has a strong background in journalism, with experience in both broadcast and digital media. Since 2019, Carr has been employed at theSkimm, where they currently hold the position of Editorial Director, News. Prior to this role, Carr worked at the same company in various positions including Senior Producer & Host, News and Producer & Host, News. Before joining theSkimm, Carr was a Media & Content Associate at Spring Studios from 2018 to 2019. They also worked at CBS News, where they held roles such as Live Segment, Voice-Over & Special Report Production and Broadcast Associate at CBS Evening News. Carr began their career as a Research Intern and later as a Political Unit Intern at CBS News.

Alex Carr attended Dartmouth College from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Government and Art History.
