Alexey Baranov

Alexey Baranov is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in digital media and banking sectors. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at TheSoul Publishing since November 2019, Alexey has successfully led a cross-functional team of over 100 professionals to enhance global digital media operations, driving AI adoption and innovation across more than 200 systems. Prior roles include Head of Application Development and Maintenance Unit at UniCredit Bank Russia, where Alexey managed a team of over 200 and a $20M annual budget, and Chief Technology Officer at Alfa-Forex, overseeing a $4M budget and various financial technology projects. With earlier experience as Head of Software Development at Alpari (RU) and Head of Web Development at Mango Telecom, Alexey has a solid foundation in software development and project management, complemented by an engineering degree from Belarusian National Technical University.
