Angeliki Samara

Angeliki Samara is the current Director at Thessaloniki Port Authority SA. Prior to their current position, they held various positions such as Adjunct Academic Staff at Hellenic Open University, Accountant-Tax-Business Consultant, and Director at The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL).

Angeliki has always had a passion for numbers and started their own business in 2005 as an accountant and tax consultant. In 2016, they began working at the Hellenic Open University where they taught subjects such as financial management and accounting. In 2019, they were appointed as the Director at Thessaloniki Port Authority SA.

Angeliki is a highly qualified individual with a vast amount of experience in the field of accounting and finance. Angeliki is a dedicated worker who always puts the needs of their company first. Under their leadership, Thessaloniki Port Authority SA has flourished and become one of the leading port authorities in Greece.

Dr. Angeliki Samara is a certified public accountant who earned their undergraduate degree in economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Angeliki went on to earn their master's degree in applied accounting and auditing from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in Greece. Finally, they earned their PhD in accounting from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
