David Pfeiffer

David Pfeiffer has worked in the tech industry since 2015. David began their career at Southeast Missouri State University as an IT Help Desk Technician. In 2015, they joined Vintage Software as a Full Stack Developer and Web Development Intern, where they gained experience developing a RESTful web API and Angular web application with user authentication, database persistence, and real-time client-server communications. In 2019, they joined Theta Lake as a Data Science Engineer, where they built, trained, analyzed, and monitored NLP and vision-based machine learning classifiers for detection of risky content in video, audio, chat, emails, and documents. David also developed machine learning tools and processes for retraining and regression analysis. Additionally, they were responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring progressive web applications with cutting-edge technologies such as service workers and powerful capabilities such as advanced search. David also conducted engineering interviews, trained new employees, provided code reviews for Angular projects, and coordinated with teammates to achieve successful deployments in production environments.

David Pfeiffer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Southeast Missouri State University between 2014 and 2019.
