David Segev

Chief Scientist at ThetaRay

David Segev has had a long and varied career in research and development. David began their career in 2000, working as a Physicist-Researcher for a start-up called Trellis Photonics. In 2002, they moved to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a PostDoctorate, and then in 2004, they were a PostDoctorate at the University of California Santa Barbara. In 2005, they became a Physicist-Researcher at Tower Semiconductor LTD, and in 2006, they were an Algorithm Researcher-Developer at Elta - Israel Aerospace Industry. From 2011-2013, they were a Research Scientist at Siemens CSP, and from 2013 onward, they have been the Chief Scientist and Director of Algorithm R&D at ThetaRay, where they have been researching and developing unique unsupervised/supervised algorithms for big data analysis and anomaly detection, applied to financial fraud and risk, industrial operational risks, and unknown cyber threats.

David Segev has a PhD in Physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and has attended "Ecole Vaugirard" at Ecole nationale supérieure Louis Lumière, studying Cinema.
