Javier Canseco

Javier Canseco has worked in the field of Big Data since 2018. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Big Data Engineer at ThetaRay, where they have been leading projects to success in FinTech and strategic accounts, developing AI-driven Anti Money Laundering (AML) solutions for fintechs and banks, and developing AI-driven solutions for Wholesale Banking. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Big Data Engineer at TMC, where they developed back end Spark and Scala apps and dealt with Apache Hadoop Ecosystem including Hive, Impala, Hue, HDFS, and Sqoop. In 2018, they worked as a Big Data Engineer at Bluetab Solutions, where they developed Big Data applications for a regulatory-related project for BBVA CIB and worked on back end using Spark and Scala. Javier also completed a Full-Time Master in Big Data and Analytics at Datahack School in 2018. Prior to their Big Data experience, they worked as an ABS|RMBS and Structured Credit Senior Trader at Banco Santander from 2004-2018, where they were responsible for the European ABS/RMBS Secondary market Trading Book, handling a large position and an individual Budget, and was a member of the Credit trading desk.

Javier Canseco obtained their Master's degree in Big Data from datahack school in 2018. Javier then went on to receive an ICAI Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas between 1999 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended Colegio Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo from 1985 to 1998. No additional certifications are listed.
