Homayoon Shahinfar

Homayoon Shahinfar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology, venture capital, and healthcare innovation. Currently serving as an Advisor at Pison and ThetaRho, Shahinfar focuses on advancing AI-infused biosensing platforms and transforming healthcare administrative processes. As a Partner at Meru Ventures, strategic advice is provided to early-stage start-ups in digital health, cleantech, and XR. Additional advisory roles include OKOSIX, which develops biodegradable materials. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Google, where growth strategies for Wallet partnerships were implemented, and Samsung Electronics, where technology strategy and partnerships were managed. Shahinfar is also the founder of Stima Systems and has held roles in business development and market development at BT - Ribbit Corporation and mBlox, Inc., respectively. Educational qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
