Gina Rothbaum has extensive experience in the counseling field, currently serving as a Resident in Counseling at Wellness in Mind, LLC and maintaining a private practice through Gina Rothbaum, MA, NCC, LLC since February 2015. Additionally, Gina has been involved with The Women's Center since May 2012, providing psychotherapy and career counseling for adults and couples. Previous experience includes a counseling externship at Virginia Hospital Center and a counseling practicum at Parkmont School, where Gina also served as Business Manager and Science/Math Teacher from September 2000 to August 2011. Gina co-founded Alternative Gifts of Greater Washington and served as a board member from June 2004 to May 2011. Gina holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a BA in Environmental Studies from Allegheny College.

Founded in 1974, The Women’s Center is a unique service provider dedicated to significantly improving the well-being of individuals and families in the Washington DC region. We offer counseling, education, and support services to help clients transition through times of personal challenge so they can go on to live healthy, stable lives. Our two locations – Vienna, VA and Washington, DC – offer compassionate, comprehensive services to ensure that clients from all walks of life can receive a high level of care, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, The Women’s Center works with thousands of men, women, teens, and children through our wide range of services. The Center provides a sliding fee scale to maintain accessibility to those in need, no matter their financial situation.
