Sara Fodil-Cherif

Sara Fodil-Cherif is a skilled professional with a strong background in counseling psychology and human resources. Currently serving as a Resident Therapist at Trauma Counseling & Recovery since September 2021 and at The Women's Center since August 2020, Sara has developed expertise in therapeutic practices. Previous experience includes a Counseling Extern position at The Women's Center from January 2018 to January 2019, and a role as a Global Recruiting Coordinator in HR at PATH from January 2016 to August 2016. Sara holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from George Mason University and Mount Royal University, respectively, along with a PHR Academic Certification in Human Resources Management.

We offer counseling, education, and support services to help clients transition through times of personal challenge so they can go on to live healthy, stable lives. Our two locations – Vienna, VA and Washington, DC – offer compassionate, comprehensive services to ensure that clients from all walks of life can receive a high level of care, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, The Women’s Center works with thousands of men, women, teens, and children through our wide range of services. The Center provides a sliding fee scale to maintain accessibility to those in need, no matter their financial situation. No matter how wide our range of services become, our core is focused the person in need of counseling and support.
