Kate McConnell

Kate McConnell has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Kate is currently working as a Creative Director at THG since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Immersive Experience Lead at Microsoft from January 2022 to March 2023. From November 2020 to December 2021, they were an Executive Creative Director at Victory Hill Exhibitions. Earlier in their career, they worked at Thinkwell Group as a Senior Creative Director for a decade, where they developed award-winning exhibits and experiences. Kate also has experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University and as a Shakespeare Dramaturg at Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Kate McConnell attended George Mason University from 1997 to 2000, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater. Following this, they pursued further education at the Yale School of Drama from 2002 to 2005, completing their Master of Fine Arts degree in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism.
