Abdul Sukkur

Abdul Sukkur currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Secondary Education at United Arakan Institute Malaysia, focusing on enhancing educational standards and empowering students. With extensive experience in interpreting and translating Rohingya, Bengali, and Chittagonian languages, Abdul facilitates cross-cultural communication in various roles, including as a Transcriber for THG Fluently and as an Interpreter/Translator for UNHCR. Prior experiences include teaching English at Save the Children International and UNICEF, as well as participation in camp governance as Secretary of the Block Management Committee for UNHCR in Bangladesh. Abdul holds multiple teaching certifications and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the University of Chittagong, with additional studies in teaching methodology at Taylor's University and Queens University Canada.
