Michael Broughton

Michael Broughton is an accomplished entrepreneur and board member with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As the Founder of Altro since November 2019, Broughton has demonstrated innovative prowess. In addition to this role, Broughton serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at USC Credit Union, a position held since November 2017. As an investor in Drink Barcode, a plant-based and low sugar sports drink launched in August 2021, Broughton contributes to the promotion of healthier beverage options. Broughton's involvement with The Thiel Foundation as a Thiel Fellow began in May 2020, and previously, Broughton gained experience as a Scout at Sequoia Capital from April 2018 to June 2021. Educational credentials include a degree from the University of Southern California (2017-2020) and participation in the Y Combinator program, specifically S20.
