Reiss Jones

Reiss Jones is an innovative inventor and technical consultant currently working at reissjones.com since February 2025, and serving as a Thiel Fellow at The Thiel Foundation since February 2023. As a Scholar in Residence at 1517 Fund since July 2022, Reiss is also the Founder and CEO of Macro Supplies®, which specializes in affordable seaweed farming equipment. Previously, Reiss held the role of Consultant and Inventor at The Synthetic Rabbit from March 2022 to May 2022, and co-founded Synthesea, where Reiss worked as a Scientist and Business Lead from January 2020 to January 2022. Additionally, Reiss was a co-founder and research associate at Multus Media from January 2019 to March 2020. Reiss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Imperial College London (2018-2021) and completed A Levels in Biology, Computer Science, and Mathematics at Bourne Grammar School (2016-2018).
