Brett Harris

Brett Harris is an experienced executive and engineering professional with a strong background in mining and project management. Currently serving as Executive Director at Thiess Mongolia since October 2021, Brett has also held roles including Group Manager for Underground and Manager of Project Development, focusing on growth and strategy within the organization. Previously, Brett worked at Thiess from July 2016 to December 2019 as Underground Business Development Manager and Project Manager for the Oyu Tolgoi C2S Declines project. Earlier positions include Project Manager and Technical Services Manager at Leighton Asia, Senior Mining Engineer at CPB Contractors, Senior Surveyor at Glencore, and Mine Engineer/Surveyor at LionOre. Brett holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School and graduate and undergraduate degrees in mining engineering and science from Curtin University.
