Russ Starke's work experience begins in 1997 when they joined Strategic Management Group, Inc. as a Project Manager, Instructional Designer, and Media Specialist. Russ worked there until 2002. In 1999, they also began working at Philadelphia University as a Digital Design/Instructional Technology Graduate Faculty member, a role they held until 2009. In 2000, they briefly worked at US Interactive as an Information Architect. From 2002 to 2003, they were employed at FullTilt Solutions as a Senior Information Architect. In 2003, they moved to Ciber, where they worked as a Senior Information Architect and Project Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at the Drug Information Association (DIA) as a Senior Instructional Designer and Project Manager. In 2006, they worked at Cadient Group as a Senior Project Manager for a short time before joining Performance Development Group as a Senior Instructional Designer from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they became the Executive Vice President of Think Company in 2007, and in 2018, they were promoted to Chief Executive Officer, a position they still hold.
Russ Starke attended West Islip Senior High School from 1989 to 1992. After graduating from high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications, Audio/Video Production, and Music at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, Russ furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and 1997.
