Susan M. has a robust background in technology and education, currently serving as the Head of R&D at Avoco Secure since March 2005. Alongside this role, Susan is an advisor on identity for Think Digital Partners and previously held a position as an advisory board member at Surfshark. Prior experience includes serving as CTO and Director at adhearo from 2000 to 2003, where strategic product development decisions were made following a merger. As a co-founder of HM Software Ltd, Susan played a crucial role in developing security solutions that garnered recognition and facilitated sales to Fortune 1000 companies globally. Additional roles include teaching science at Whitley Bay Middle School and serving as a works analyst and analytical chemist early in the career. Susan holds a Master’s degree in Evolutionary Anthropology from Durham University and has obtained education-related qualifications from Newcastle University and a BSc in Chemistry from Northumbria University.
