Mark Dixon

Manager of Tool Design at THINK Surgical

Mark Dixon has over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design. Mark started their career in 1992 as a Mechanical Designer at Audioaccess, and was later promoted to Technical Support and Repair Technician. In 1993, they began working as a Mechanical Designer at Harman Specialty Center, where they were responsible for submitting and following up on approvals and certificates for FCC, CSA, UL, CE SEMKO and C-TICK. In 2000, they moved to Runco International as a Mechanical Engineer and Manager, where they managed a team of Engineers and Drafters with tight timelines and designed and engineered high-end video electronic enclosures. In 2006, Mark Dixon joined CHA Industries as a Mechanical Design Engineer, responsible for designing and engineering high vacuum deposition systems. In 2011, they returned to CHA Industries as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they designed and engineered a new system to add to CHA's product line with better pumping and added features. Finally, in 2012, Mark Dixon joined Think Surgical as Manager of Tool Design, Assistant Manager of Tool Design, and Mechanical Engineer.

Mark Dixon attended Ohlone College and obtained an AA Degree in Natural Science/Electronics. Mark then went on to San Jose State University to study Mechanical Engineering.
