Ranmaru Shimoda

Ranmaru Shimoda currently serves as a Project Intern at ThinkCyte since January 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of Co-Managing Director for the Japan Region at Nucleate from June 2022 to December 2023, focusing on democratizing biotechnology and fostering future biotech leaders in Japan. Ranmaru also worked as a Neuroscience Research Assistant at RIKEN from March 2018 to March 2019 in the Center for Brain Science, Thomas J. McHugh Lab, and as a Researcher at Rhelixa-inc from July 2017 to March 2019, contributing to Next Generation Sequence-based epi/genome analysis services. Ranmaru is pursuing a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at The University of Tokyo, previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at International Christian University, and studied at the University of Pennsylvania.
