Stephanie Sy

Stephanie Sy is the founder and CEO of Thinking Machines Data Science, a data transformation company. Stephanie has also served as an independent director at BPI-Philam Life Assurance Corp. In addition, Stephanie has been a member of the DOST-PCIEERD AI Advisory Board at the Department of Science and Technology. Prior to these roles, they worked as a partner at Silicon Valley Insight, where they built Android and iOS experiences and data tools for various companies. Stephanie has also worked as a consulting transport data scientist at the Department of Transportation and Communications, evaluating transportation data solutions and assessing big data frameworks for public transportation. Before that, they were a product analyst at Google, where they built internal tools to analyze social network data and analyzed data trends in social media marketing. Stephanie began their career as an online advertising manager at The Stanford Daily Newspaper.

Stephanie Sy attended Stanford University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study focused on Management Science and Engineering.
