Mihai Bâlea

Mihai Bâlea is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in design leadership and strategy. Serving as Senior Manager UX at Spectro Cloud since August 2019 and UX Design Practice Lead at Thinslices since October 2022, Mihai also co-founded UX.Rocks, which fosters innovation in startups through Design Sprints and workshops. With a background in mentoring and facilitating product strategy workshops, Mihai has contributed to the UX community in Iasi by organizing regular meetups. Previous roles include leading UX teams at Bytex Software Services and Optymyze, where responsibilities encompassed defining UX processes, enhancing team collaboration, and mentoring designers. Educational qualifications include studies at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași and the Interaction Design Foundation.
