Ryan Gillis has a strong background in research and innovation. Ryan started their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where they worked in the Carbon Sequestration for Energy Applications Laboratory. In 2014, they moved on to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they worked as a Research Assistant in the Advanced Materials Research Laboratory. In 2016, Ryan joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Doctoral Candidate, under the guidance of Dr. William H. Green. Ryan recently co-founded Thiozen Inc. in 2020, where they currently serve as the CEO and Co-Founder.
Ryan Gillis completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2015. Ryan then pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020.
