Snr. Principal Engineer, Mechanical at Third Pole Therapeutics

Andy Foelsche has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Andy is currently working as a Senior Principal Engineer, Mechanical at Third Pole Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Principal Engineer at Proven Process Medical Devices (NextPhase Medical Devices) for over 10 years, focusing on new product development of medical devices.

Andy has also held positions at Ximedica, where they worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from 2005 to 2011, and at Item New Product Development / Ximedica, where they served as a Senior Engineer / Project Manager from 2005 to 2008. Before that, Andy worked at Texas Instruments as a Senior Design Engineer from 1995 to 2005.

In the early stages of their career, they held the position of Principal Project Engineer at Pollak (Stoneridge), Central Services Group, where they were involved in the development of automotive controls and implemented formalized documentation standards throughout the design engineering process. Andy also worked as a Project Engineer at Textron, McCord Winn from 1990 to 1994 and as a Product Engineer at TRW, Fasteners & Controls Division from 1987 to 1989.

Andy Foelsche attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Andy then pursued further education at the same institution from 1985 to 1987 and obtained a Masters of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, in December 2011, Andy obtained a certification as a Certified Quality Engineer from the American Society for Quality.
