Al has over a decade of experience in leading and supporting public health research and evaluation projects in an array of topic areas. Prior to joining 3Si, Al managed the evaluation of a federally funded statewide opioid response grant, focusing on client outcomes and harm reduction tracking. Al optimized data management and tracking by building Tableau dashboards. Al also led evaluations for medical and behavioral consultation programs at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine. Al was responsible for generating a universal reporting template using dashboards and utilized spatial data to inform programmatic improvement. Prior to these roles, Al supported research and evaluation projects at a non-profit research institution focused on public health nutrition and food insecurity in early care and education settings. In this role, Al refined instrument development, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and mixed methods study design skills.
Al earned a Ph.D. in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She earned an MPH and MSW, as well as a BS in Psychology, from the University of Georgia.
