Rajath Swaroop Mulky has a diverse work experience. Rajath Swaroop began their career in 2017 as a Research Assistant at San Jose State University, where they were responsible for developing an autonomous wheelchair from scratch. Rajath Swaroop published two papers at IEEE ICCC 2018 and Sensors Journal on affordable autonomous scooter. In 2018, they joined Evodyne Robotics as a Software Engineer, where they specialized in computer vision, developed algorithms in C++ and Python, and filed patents on robot design, gripper design, motion planning, and GICP-based object pose matching. Rajath Swaroop also developed an indoor SLAM application using depth cameras, OpenCV, PCL, OctoMap, G2O, and DBow2. In 2020, they joined Third Wave Automation as a Lead Reliability Engineer and Software Engineer, where they developed localization solutions for warehouse robots and built tools for large-scale deployment. Rajath Swaroop also helped bring robots from the lab to the real world, working with robots that greatly impact the safety of warehouse workers.
Rajath Swaroop Mulky received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Reserch Academy (SASTRA), Thanjavur in 2016. Rajath Swaroop then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University, which they completed in 2018.
