Anya Farquhar has a long and varied work experience. Anya began their career in 2006 as a Design Fellow at the United Nations in New York City. In 2007, they worked as a Design Researcher for ResearchCenteredDesign, a Designer for BMW Group DesignworksUSA, and an Art Director for TBWA\Media Arts Lab. In 2008, they took on the role of Creative Director at TOMS, where they led the Creative Team responsible for TOMS strategic branding and built and managed a team of 20+ designers, writers and art directors. From 2014 to 2015, they were Self-Employed as a Creative Director Consultant. During this time, they also served as an Online Instructor at UCLA Extension. In 2021, they became Creative Director/Director of Marketing & Brand Experience at This Saves Lives. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Creative Director at GOOD Worldwide Inc.
Anya Farquhar attended Pacific University from 2002 to 2003, studying Integrated Media, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Dance. Anya then attended SACI - Florence in 2004, studying Graphic Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, Photography, and Italian Language. Finally, they attended ArtCenter College of Design from 2004 to 2007, where they earned their BFA in Graphic Design.
