Silvia Fardilha

Silvia Fardilha is a highly experienced Senior Cosmetic Chemist currently leading the Laboratory and R&D Team at Matrix since April 2024. Prior to this role, Silvia served as a Product Development Chemist and Innovation & Sustainability Raw Materials Expert at The Body Shop, where successful New Product Developments were delivered through strategic collaboration. Silvia has also contributed as a Production & Laboratory Manager at Skingreen Cosmetics, establishing the company and leading its project implementation, and held significant positions at Castelbel and A Ocasião Faz o Sabão, focusing on product innovation and natural formulation. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto, a Post-Graduation in Advanced Cosmetology from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
