Paul Macey

Paul Macey started their work experience in 2007 at Aceville Publications Ltd, where they held roles as a Deputy Editor for PGi Magazine and later as a Lead Web Developer. In these positions, they were responsible for writing feature articles, proof-reading, sub-editing, maintaining websites, creating new web-based appliances, and managing internal systems and communication equipment.

Paul then moved on to Time Inc. UK in 2014, starting as a Web Developer and later becoming a Senior Web Developer for TrustedReviews. At Time Inc. UK, they worked on women's lifestyle titles such as GoodtoKnow and Essentials magazine. Paul also played a significant role in continuous improvement and innovation on the company's CI pipeline and technology stack.

In 2016, Paul joined TI Media as a Senior Web Developer (Platform Engineering). In this role, they were responsible for continuous improvement and innovation on the company's CI pipeline, technology stack, and operational support. Paul contributed to the delivery of a Docker-based solution and custom deployment tooling that enabled brands to launch new propositions quickly.

Their most recent work experience is at Mother, where they are currently employed as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Paul Macey attended Colchester Royal Grammar School from 1998 to 2005. Paul then went on to study at University Campus Suffolk from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Digital Media.
