David Hicks

With 30 years of business experience, working initially in corporate environments variously leading sales, marketing, operations, people, and innovation functions and has grown SME businesses as a Board member. During the past 20 years, David has led Border Crossing a trusted consulting and advisory business, helping senior executives and Boards bring to life their innovation and change agendas. With a particular interest in the development of future leader cohorts and how systems thinking and innovation is used as a tool to do this. Recently, David worked with the renowned challenger business consultancy, eatbigfish and co-founded a specialist advisory business helping Challenger businesses to respond to disruption through harnessing their limitations and constraints. David has worked internationally with senior executives in clients including Viacom, Sky, Invesco, Unilever, LVMH, Bank of Kenya, Reuters and Nestle. David holds an MBA and is an active member of the contemporary arts scene in Scotland and London.
